Lena Horne has passed on at the age of 92 today. She was an important figure in the entertainment business for African Americans and will be missed.

Old vs New
I've always loved David Banner's Cadillac on 22s song and when I just recently heard the Jackson's Destiny song I was blown away that Banner had sampled such a beautiful track to make an equally beautiful one. Definitely a case of good sampling from old to new.
